Episode 02: Hunting Goats

Last weekend, my family and I were having a picnic in the bush. We weren’t expecting to do any hunting as we sat in the sunshine eating apricots. But next thing, we herd a rustle in the bush and smelt a heavy goaty stink. My partner runs back to the truck to grab the gun while I look after the kids and watch out for the goat. After a while, my man comes rushing in, we swap duty’s and I’m off into the bush after the noise! I spot him, the billy spots me and he’s off! I take my shot, just in time and drop him! Head shot! There was a very grateful family in Southland that day!
