Hi I’m Lucy !

For me, hunting is all about leaving as small as possible foot print on the earth as I believe it is the greatest gift we can give our children. I am forever great full to able to my pass down this knowledge we have gained about hunting and gathering our own food to the next generation. Knowing where your meat has come from and that it is fresh, free and organic is a hugely important to us as hunters. My little family and I live in the stunning town of Wanaka, New Zealand on the edge of mighty lake Wanaka where we are surrounded by breath taking snow capped mountain ranges. This country’s wilderness is filled with introduced game animals that if not harvested by hunters would cause massive damage to our farms and native environment. It truly is a hunters paradise.

After my Instagram page gathered a little international following, I realised how important it is to have a female voice in the world of hunting. Im humbled that I can inspire, connect and share knowledge with other passionate hunters. I am using this website as a platform to share hunting advice, my art, recommendations, a blog; as well as an honest insight into my life.

I want to continue to educate others to reduce the stigma around hunting in New Zealand, and for more people to realise the ethics, positive impact and positive role hunting has in our society.
